Hi, Scott!
I like the concept of connecting veteran musicians/musiclovers to each other. And I enjoy reading posts on the Groups and the Forum.....What i need is the ability to express freely in English ;)

Hi Scott. Yes that's the one. Allmusic gives it 4 1/2 stars and I can buy it new for for under $15 postpaid. Sadly price has become a major concern when buying music which sometimes means sampling artist rather than digging deep. Actually Allmusic said to look for the best price and buy this which is quite a recommendation. I look thru Mojo whenever in Barnes & Nobel but the $7 price is a little steep. I may have mentioned elsewhere I rely mostly on "The Big Takeover" to stay current. Only two issues a year and lots of reviews although not as many as 10 years ago. You had mentioned your interest in 70's British prog music. Who else did you discover. The Strawbs? Groundhogs? Actually more blues than prog but a favorite.

hello scott thanks for dropping over. its a pleasure! nice to see you over in these parts.
um i think the player just drags over, if i remember rightly, just hover your mouse over the top of it 'til you get your 4 pointed star and then drag it wherever you want it to go.

I looked up Ayers on Amazon. Looks like some bargains can be had. A 4!! CD comp. can be had for under $12 new. 60 tracks! A 19 track best of is under $4. Will read up on him and yes, I've heard of him. Always curious but never checked him out. Glad you like Caravan. I've got about 6 LP's from the 70's and 5 or 6 CD's which seem to be either re-recordings are extended versions. Rick

Hi Scott:

Nice songs! I hear a lot of Beatles in Monday Shirt. Mayumi Akasaki did a lovely job with your song. Not wimpy at all! :)

I totally met Michael Nesmith and I didn't pass out

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt. And, being a woman/girl of a certain age, I have a favorite and that favorite is Mike.…See More
