thanks for responding. You seem what kind Beer to do like and is there a big-regional Minnesota beer. Also, have you ever been to First Avenue?  What do you write about and do you do any martial arts ?

You ain't kidding. South Lyon.. small world indeed. I'll buy you a beer (or a single malt scotch) at the Blind Pig sometime!

Got a new CD coming out with all the tunes on our homepage here and at ReverbNation www.reverbnation.com/abandcalledmithras. If you have a chance, take a listen and become a fan if you do not spontaneously hurl.

Thanks for the complement on my "Anton" jacket. Actually, it's a Jón Sæmundur (Nonni Dead) Jacket. He's an artist/musician who lives in Iceland, whom I pen-pal with from time to time (I also pen-pal with Anton / when his schedule permits)... Nonni is a very deep/spiritual individual whom I met at sort of a turbulent time a couple years back, and we started talking about that quote (which is from the Bible).

Shortly thereafter I saw The BJM play at the Fine Line and, thus, saw Anton's jacket. I didn't want to rip Nonni's idea off (plus he silk-screened it on Anton's jacket) but I wanted one and had the perfect jacket for it. So I had Nonni write it out and send me a pic, which I projected onto the jacket and traced with a bleach pen... turned out pretty fucking good.

Yeah. Sometimes I randomly throw out quirky stories here and there. But I had to say it, cause you mentioned it. Thanks for the friend-add.

Welcome Julie! You had me at Pretty Things, but any list that contains the MC5, Dirtbombs and Sonics is a most righteous list.

We're glad you're here -- tell all your rockin' friends about us!
