Rock and Roll Tribe

A Global Army of Veteran Rockers

Taking action to keep a rocking community alive.

This fantastic forum is not the only one I am a member of but is definitely now 100% my favourite. I hope no one minds but classic rock magazine is permanently shutting down their forum this coming wednsday as a buisiness decision so I done the only sensible thing and invited them all over to here. I figured since thats where I heard about rcok and roll tribe in the first place it was the only logical choice. There are/were some great guys on that forum with a lot of humour thrown in and it had that terrific sense of commraderie and community that only a forum or group can create, such as we have on here too.

I can only hope they take notice and move over here as I would hate to lose touch with them and feel they would be a real bonus to our great community we have here. At the least I know Ive taken action and tried to help keep a bunch of rockers in touch with each other and boost our numbers with some great and interesting people.

Please forgive any spelling mistakes or errors in gramma. That is all.

Thanks for the welcome, shermo, and thanks for suggesting this board on the CR forums.

I fear that CR just stopped paying attention to the forums since there was more activity on their Facebook and Twitter.

The bit about "account activation"? That was a lie. I waited a week for someone to get in touch with me, then finaly got tired and went to the site and found I could post.

I'm pretty sure I was the last guy on the old forum when the lights went out.

OK, it looks like I'm the first of these survivors to make it across from the old CR Forum, clinging to the wreckage and following Shermo's siren song to your lifeboat. Be gentle with me while I nose around your community, but what I've seen so far looks very interesting. I'm sure there'll be others along shortly and hopefully we'll make a positive contribution.

Awesome -- send 'em over.  We'll take good care of them....  :)

jack , I'm pretty sure if they knew you were coming they would of baked you a cake...
I imagine this is what a virtual Titanic sinking would of been like...
Get those folks in the lifeboats and get them over to the tribe!

Well I went over there to comment and urge people to come on over to the tribe, but I got this message: "Your account has been created. However, this board requires account activation by the administrator group. An e-mail has been sent to them and you will be informed when your account has been activated."

Hopefully, the moderator will still let me in.
