In Brock's words, "Here are a collection of photographs and drawings of and by Andrew set to the music of A Thousand Wonders, the song we recorded just days before he died."
"After many years working apart, Andrew and I finally got back into the studio to record this song. We spent the day experimenting, laughing, wondering where all the time had gone. We sat in the garden dreaming back to tours of the states, Europe and Asia, my wedding, his, Kenny-- and by the end of the day he had put his mark on this as he does everything he touches . . . touched. He died this week and we're all sick with grief. The plans we made to start working together more regularly just fond wisps floating off into space."
"But he's captured here, one last time. If not the last recording he ever made, certainly one of the last. He was my friend, mentor and much more that defies any label. I'm grateful to have had this last chance to make a joyful noise."
"Which makes me the last of the Smogtones."

4. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
5. The Darjeeling Limited
6. Bottle Rocket
But I love 'em all. I'd say all six would be in my top 150…"

"You and I are on the same wavelength, Gail. I posted that trailer yesterday morning on Facebook. It opens this weekend, but only in L.A. and NY. I hope it comes to Chattanooga soon. Darjeeling Limited took forever to get here."
"The whole soundtrack is great and the movie is very good. You'll dig it more than most because you'll get all the rock & roll references. The soundtrack also has my second favorite Dinosaur Jr. song: "Take a Run at the…"
"I liked a couple tracks on the Keene Brothers disc, but I didn't love it. For a while there after Isolation Drills, I could generally find a handful of tracks per album that I would dig (excepting of course the bizarro side projects like…"

"Just caught this scene in Grace of My Heart. Written by Costello and Bacharach, this verrsion (sung by Kristen Vigard not Illeana Douglas) is not available on the official soundtrack. Pretty great:
