For someone on the wrong side of 40, I go to a LOT of live shows. The problem is, they're like heroin. (Well, like I imagine heroin would be; fortunately I have no actual experience with it.) It's usually a couple of hours of pure bliss followed with a deep, deep letdown when it's over. It takes weeks for me to recover, and that recovery comes only with getting tickets and having another gig to look forward to.

I don't think there is a better voice out there than Mr Lanegan. His solo stuff is a bit of a departure from the Screaming Trees, a lot more stripped back and bluesy. Really brings his voice to the fore. I'd recommend "I'll take care of you" and "Bubblegum" for a start. Let me know what you think of them if you give them a listen. Great to hear from you.
