Have loved following the "album of 2010" discussion. Thought I'd get a little more granular based on Stu Pope's 'mix tape' idea (which has some absolutely amazing song choices on it!)... we could…Continue

Mike, I love Band of Horses. My wife and I saw them here in Nashville a few months back. We just found out that they're playing "Live on the Green", free show here next week. I have been a fan of The New Pornographers for 6 years and I've seen many shows. They are awesome.

Ah yes, Chris Shary. I'm sure we've met. I'm not involved in any music activities at the moment. The last thing I did was the Virginia Sisters-- a Nick lowe-Replacements love affair. Bruce Brodeen (one of our humble Tribe creators) released our record "Last Pathetic Fool" on his Notlame label. You should check it out. I plan on moving back to Ft.Collins by the years end so I'm sure we'll meet in person. What was/is the ABQ?

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt. And, being a woman/girl of a certain age, I have a favorite and that favorite is Mike.…See More
