Billy Miller's Discussions

If you could go back in time and attend the recording sessions for only album, which would it be?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Penny Rush-Valladares Aug 18, 2010. 8 Replies

This question came about thru the discussion of rock and roll hot spots, specifically studios; "where the magic happens"-MM. How about some times to go with those places. I'm gonna try not to stay up…Continue

Ratt actually is pretty good still, and I never liked Poison, I agree Billy! Never was too big on the hair bands. I still love my old faves from the 70s and 80s (my formative years, lol) but am always craving new music. I get bored listening to the same stuff all the time. I am now on a Slipknot, Mastodon, Viking Skull kick, but some stuff like Priest, Dio and Maiden, I never get tired of. I am now into native flute music (the instrument I play) and new age, as well as old-timey bluegrass (I play lap dulcimer too). Yep, a metal new age flutist! Funny you mention twinkies, I haven't had one in years, so I had a craving for them recently and bought a box. I ate ONE. Tasted like styrofoam. How disappointing :(

Absolutely! I own the Imperial Drag disc, Sextus, 2 of Roger's solo discs, The Grays, and even a Beatnik Beatch disc. I rank Jellyfish *very* high on my list of favorites. Good to hear from you! You clearly have fine taste in music...

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt. And, being a woman/girl of a certain age, I have a favorite and that favorite is Mike.…See More
