Would it sound underwhelming being announced at an arena concert by a local DJ?  Does it make you laugh?  Do they have an embarrassing press photo, too?  Share your love for rock's hopelessly inept.Continue

We'll see about Theo leaving....my buddy (big sports nut)...is hoping the 2 of them wind up together with the Cubs and lead them to the promised land ;<)

I on the other hand think (....well....I've loved Theo here, so I can't really picture this being his motivation, but....ahem...circumstances would indicate...)...the he pushed Francona out the door so maybe he'd be the only one to take the blame and everybody else could just move on.....still can't believe this...a month ago we were discussing, "best manager ever of the BoSox" and now here he are.....I could get worked up about it....this team was built to win 100 games...so they won 90....the slow start, plus no Bucholz plus no Youk plus underachievement by Lackey/Crawford.....there's 10 games right there....they should have just come back with the same team.....aye yi yai....

well its a bit of a tall tale this, but the dealer who sold it to me swore that steve had to be bailed out of prison in hong kong [he hinted at drug possession]! and as a revenue raiser a whole bunch of band equipment had passed through the store [jacksons rare guitars in sydney] the rickenbacker 330 amongst it all. thats the story anyway! i would have bought it even without the dubious sales pitch however as i was able to get it pretty cheap ['cause i had the cash in hand from a car incident a few days earlier.]

a milky way bar! now thats rather funny...

its certainly a cool name, melbourne, but im biased as i was born there. i have seen the kilbeys on stage but dont know them personally. steves band the church loomed large in my formative years, and i ended up owning one of marty wilson-pipers guitars! [a 12 string rickenbacker]
