Update on my songza station - I've added tons of new songs, most recently including some Golden Motors, Hannah Cranna, Michael Carpenter, Cotton Mather from Kon-Tiki Deluxe, Anushka Pop, John Hoskinson, David William, Young Sportsmen, Beagle Ranch, The vestals, Jeff Litman, Heartless Devils and the Hazey Janes.  Tune in!

I've just started a radio show called Power Pop Stew at www.realmsofmusic.com  The one hour show airs Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings at 9 PM (EST).

I'm always looking for great Power Pop to add to the show.  Contact me if this applies to your band!

Tons of power pop & melodic rock music, no talk, just music in rotation.

I also pinch-hit on the "Beat Crazy" hour occasionally on:

I recommend Slipkid's show, Fridays at 10PM EST.

My recommendation isn't a podcast but a weekly radio broadcast that I've listened to off and on for more than 10 years. Bill Kelly's Teenage Wasteland is broadcast Sunday afternoons from N.J. radio station WFMU. What makes his show so special is the unpredictable play list that can run from an obscure late 60's garage track to a new track by the Len Price 3. In addition to the brilliant play list the disc jockey exhibits such passion for the music that he plays. Hope you check it out online; the archives go back to 2001.

The Watt Pedro Show. Mike Watt. Usually a guest. Always a Coltrane tune. Heavy on stuff you've never heard before. All over the map and then some. Go here http://twfps.com/

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt. And, being a woman/girl of a certain age, I have a favorite and that favorite is Mike.…See More
