Nice! Glad it isn't a Strat...Not that there is anything wrong with 'em...
So I guess you're saying that your "rusty axe" ain't a Strat? Where's a picture?!
No tats..but here is a picture of my SG. I also have a ES335 copy. A picture in the guitar geek area. I do want a tattoo but can't decide what to live with.

Wow! That's beautiful. I love the wood. I bet it sounds great too. I play just a little very badly. My husband was a professional drummer who taught me a few chords, but lessons with him always brought us too close to divorce and then he died of throat cancer 7 months ago. My tattoo was actually kind of therapeutic for me in a way. He was very controlling and never let me have one, so now that I control my own life I got the tat I've always wanted and I love it. Think carefully about what you want because they are permanent!

Thanks Crystal. I too, play very badly but playing really keeps me out of my own head. (Therapy?)
Sorry to hear about your hubby. I have lost a few family memebers to cancer myself and understand how hard it can be to cope. But, the sun usually appears and the days move forward. I try to keep in mind that all of our days are numbered and I try not to take any for granted. Make sure you don't sweat the little stuff and enjoy life to the fullist! Oh, and try to be nice to others...I have to remind myself this sometimes....lol!
Anyways, I'll post pictures if and when I do get a tattoo. I hope it is as awesome looking and as meaningful as yours.
