Just to update,I misunderstood my friends intentions here.   He is selling his collection as one package deal.  One offer one package.  He said he just doesn't want the hassle of dealing with multiple packages and transactions.

Sorry for the confusion.

Mark

Hey gang...

I posted this over at the Jelly-L but in case there are some of you here that aren't a member of the Jelly-L here it is again...

My friend is selling off his entire Jellyfish collection save for a few items.  He basically just wants to keep items that have songs that you can't find elsewhere.  Meaning that everything in his collection which now has songs featured on the boxset or various 12" or 7" vinyls he is keeping, everything else is up for sale and it's quite a lot.

He basically wanted to offer his collection up here to true fans before posting to Ebay.
Below is his original message along with a website with pictures and a PDF file with in-depth descriptions of what he is selling.
==================================================================

Here’s a link to the collection info: http://alangermani.com/jellyfish.

Here’s what I’m thinking:

  • Only Jelly-L members (i.e., true fans who’ve hung in there for quite some time) will know about it for two weeks.
  • During that time they can visit the site, check it out, ask questions, and submit offers.
  • I won’t publicize any offers, so that folks make offers according to what it’s actually worth to them rather than in order to beat other offers.
  • I’ll pick the best offer at the end of the two weeks---or, If no reasonable offer is made, I’ll post it on eBay.
  • The maker of the best offer needs to be able to PayPal me his/her offer within three days of the end of the “auction,” else I’ll turn it over to the maker of the second-best offer or post it on eBay.
  • The purchaser must pay shipping, but can select his/her preferred method of shipment.
  • No handling or packaging fees will be charged.
===================================================================
There you have it folks.

Enjoy shopping for some rare jellyfish items and take a walk down memory lane.

Oh shit I didn't get that! So cool! I remember I got mine when the final copies were running out, maybe that's why...

Definitely in my top five bands of all time. They are a huge influence. Always remember seeing them on the Jools Holland show live and they were just amazing.

Hey folks. Big fan of Jellyfish, especially Spilt Milk. Check out my group, A Band Called Mithras, at www.reverbnation.com/abandcalledmithras
Heavy Beatles/Jellyfish/XTC influence.

Thanks for the Nines recommendation. I'm listening to them on MOG right now and like what I'm hearing - a lot!
Comment by Andy S on August 21, 2010 at 10:26am
I checked out the Nines on iTunes and cherry picked the ones I liked. I absolutely love Eileen, Lena, Melanie, Virginia, Drama Queen, and I Would Never. I don't hear a Jellyfish comparison, other than the absolute mastery of pop songcraft.
