In San Antonio, I hang out at a Rock Bar Called Bonds 007, a few blocks away from the downtown public library, and a few blocks away from my apartment.

Also, does anybody know if  Susies Saloon in Amsterdam is still there?

Billy Burroughs at the infamous Outhouse in Lawrence, KS. Circle Jerks, Weirdos, Bad Brains, Nirvana, DOA, Cro-Mags are some of the bands that I saw here. It is now a BYOB strip club.

The Club of the Day: The Replay Lounge in Lawrence, KS. The coolest bar east of Surfside 7.

My favorite will always be Boston's THE RAT. The first club I never snuck into at the tender age of 15. Saw The Cars and The Police(one of their first US dates) there and so many great local bands(it was an incredible scene in the late 70s). Never saw Mission Of Burma live there like a complete bonehead even though I bought their singles, EP and album when it came out. Not sure why but saw them 3 times during their reformed years, at least.

It rocked because it was small, dirty and the drinks were cheap and the bouncers cool. (some of them let me in as long as promised not to drink)

Club of the day: Manitoba's. Owned by Handsome Dick himself.
