Dave Edmunds & Carlene Carter-Baby Ride Easy

This one came up on shuffle recently. I love the way Dave pronounces "greasy". I wonder if that's how the Welsh pronounce it?

As the blind radio announcer said in "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou"...this "is a powerful air." Another old timey fine one from Music Fog...this week from Joy Kills Sorrow--New Shoes:

I highly recommend folks in this group to subscribe to Music Fog on YouTube...every week, at least one (but typically, many more) fine video pop up in my in box. This week....Bruce Robinson and Kelly Willis cover the Blasters "Border Radio"

This is a unreleased Toe-Tapper from the Steeldrivers!  [And their two disks are pretty good--not great...but worthwhile.]

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt.
