Permalink Reply by Debra Denton on July 26, 2010 at 10:50am Ah, so many good records here... and finally some Kiwis in Straightjacket Fits! I really do like that Clouds record, and how is it we've all missed the Easybeats?
Albums --
Hoodoo Gurus: "Stoneage Romeos" - a genuine classic, not a clinker among the songs.
You Am I: "Number Four Record" - While it was practically impossible to pick one You Am I record, this is probably the one I listen to most.
Master's Apprentices: "The Masters Apprentices" - proof positive Oz has rocked since forever.
Ice Cream Hands: "Sweeter Than The Radio" - Totally mystified why this band wasn't huge internationally. Perfect pop chops.
Even: "Free Kicks" - Probably not as classic as "Come Again", but I just listen to it more. "Coming Back to Earth" is killer, and more so live.
I really wanna do this list by decades... there are so many bands I could have thrown on here...
