We're beyond tickled to announce that the new Chris Richards and the Subtractions - Get Yer La La's Out- (Gangplank Records) is now available (CD and Download) and you have choices to make.

The very limited vinyl version (on white vinyl- I know, fancy) will be available in June.

We had a blast making this record and really hope you dig the hell out of it.

Our release party will take place on 6/22 at the Berkley Front (your paid admission will also score you a CD- so plan accordingly)

CD Store or Digital Store (vinyl coming soon)

The CD and LP will also soon be available at a variety of places (CD Baby, JAM Records, Kool Kat Musik, ITunes, etc)

(Assuming Chris is either here or will have this shown to him)....

Hi Chris --

I met you and Keith at Rick (of Paranoid Lovesick)'s place in Cleveland many moons ago. Very glad you're still active, and I'm looking forward to hearing some new stuff.

"Seagirl" will always be one of my all-time favorite power pop songs. I was honored to sing it with you that night.

If you're still in touch with Keith, please tell him hello from me.

Best,

Mike McKay

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt. And, being a woman/girl of a certain age, I have a favorite and that favorite is Mike.…See More
