Rock and Roll Tribe

A Global Army of Veteran Rockers

Which statement best describes your approach to staying healthy?

1. Everything in moderation. I have fun, but not too much fun.

2. My body is a temple - I work out religiously and eat only healthy foods

3. Whenever I have the urge to exercise, I lay down until it passes.

4. Screw moderation, I have a good time all the time.  It's worked for Lemmy and Keith Richards, right?

Ain't found a way to kill me yet.

And now you've made me laugh Jon (o:

4. I do whatever feels good to me at the moment. If that means bingeing, I binge. If that means abstaining, I abstain. Kept me alive this long!

:)

I do work out as long as it doesn't interfere with sleep or partying. But I try to have fun with that too by watching good old tv (Kolchak the Nightstalker anyone?) or movies while I do it.

i do my best to ignore all of the "studies", and all of the so-called "medical experts"...they seem to change their minds on a daily basis, which is really quite funny if you think about it for like, a second...i eat what i want, and drink what i want, sometimes in moderation, sometimes not.  sometimes "excess" is just what the doctor ordered.  i like to be active, but my "road warrior" days could be behind me...i'm not sure just yet...i think that having fun is more important than doing the "right" thing...if you find joy in something do it.  if not, don't.  pass the gravy and tequila, please.

ok, all kidding aside.  I find a "passive relaxation" workout is just the thing to keep me balanced and healthy...well, that and crack cocaine...  I am an advocate of Japanese style foot soaking, and reflexology, and sauna, etc.  Other countries seem to know more about health than we do here in the United Frantic States of America...fear rules here, whereas in other countries it is a more RELAXED attitude.  relax, don't do it...

Exercise is something which happens as a consequence of my everyday live like walking my dogs up the local mountains or chopping wood for my stoves.Mostly my lifestyle fluctuates between 4 and 2.

I,m practising 2 at the moment after overdoing the booze at christmas, however this won't last forever as I brew my own beer and have temptation staring me in the face every time I go to my shed or garage.
