That totally brings me back to <10 years old, local department store, staring at the "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" album cover.

I was gonna say the Burritos' "Six Days on the Road," but there's not a good video of it. This one would make my list, too:

 

I love "Six Days On The Road" but only from the Gram Parson Live 1973 album, is the Burritos' version with Gram on vocs?
Yeah, the examples I found were all the Hillman-fronted Burritos. Not that that's a bad thing...

Probably not one for a road trip with the kids, but a great road tune nonetheless...
