Permalink Reply by Thomas Cruz on July 25, 2012 at 3:09pm I like their "All The Young Dudes" rip, "Drops Of Jupiter". The guy comes up with some clever lyrics...I don't mind "Hey Soul Sister" either, even though the singer's voice grates with all the "hey-ay's".

Permalink Reply by Vic Paric on July 28, 2012 at 10:11am Well since we're baring our souls, here's my confession: I've been a closet ABBA fan since I was 11. Watch this video and see if you can guess why. (Hint: Any band that allows its female members to perform without pants is okay by me.)
Permalink Reply by Stan Schwieger on July 28, 2012 at 10:51am Paraphrasing Prez Bill Clinton, "I feel your shame." I own their complete recorded output...and love it. Great recordings, great song writing.
Permalink Reply by Julie Jurrjens on August 8, 2012 at 10:47am You cannot argue with a band with that many hits. Hooky as all get out. In the absence of the real thing, I've even gone to see Bjorn Again a couple times, where the pantsless kitty kimonos were featured.
Permalink Reply by Vic Paric on July 28, 2012 at 12:12pm Stan's words of support have emboldened me to post another one. Granted the set (apparently built in the same room where Flo the Progressive Insurance Lady works) is enough to induce a contact sugar high, but the song is one of their best, a classic example of perfectly-crafted pop. Besides, who's looking at the set? Agnetha and Frida are drop-dead gorgeous in this clip ...
