Sure, the family may not care about all that awesome stuff you scored at the record store.  But we do!

In this thread, let's post our prizes from the latest record store expedition.  For extra fun points, put yourself on video, upload to Youtube (or your fave video host) and embed it here.  (To embed, just drop the embed code into your message.)

Ok, let's do this.

So, Whaddya Buy????

That is pretty cool, although calling $500 reasonable is a bit of a reach. At least to me. Of course, when you've got Roy Anderson cash, it's tip money. :)
Okay, reasonable to the hardcore 'Stripe fan. If it was the Clash, you'd have your credit card out and in mid dial. If it was 'X', I'd sell my mom to the black market organ trade.
Nah, still don't think so. Now if it's a Quarterflash set, then we'd have something to talk about.
Jon, I'm with you on Quarterflash.
Now, THIS is a box set. But $500 won't work for me but it's always fun to have enviable, unreachable want list items.....
I would for Santa to leave this for me under the tree...or, more accurately, Mrs. Claus. I don't think she has that kinda cash, though.
Once I paid $250 for a Beatles bootleg box set - the Complete BBC sessions - very nice it is - booklet - super job - by this devious lot - 9 discs - I will pay depending on the package - but I'd have to say today - I have more will power - but it's tough at times especially if the Beatles are involved - it's not like the 90's.
Charlie Pickett & The Eggs - Bar Band Americanus
Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus 3 - Propeller Time
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - The Promise
UFO - Phenomenon
Soft Boys - Underwater Moonlight
The Sorrows - Bad Times, Good Times
The new High Dials--another freshly brilliant slab of visionary power pop.
Is it any good?
I last left of w/the Dials on their 2003 release 'A New Devotion'.

btw- I have their past releases as well when they wre called The Datsons and then The Datson Four (briefly). They kinda sounded like the early Who.

After A New Devotion - I just wasn't into them on their next release.
I listened to the new cd by the High Dials one time and wasn't impressed. It was too sugar-coated poppy. But, I may have just not been in the right mood for it. May need to listen again although I sold the copy I had on Amazon.

I didn't know they were the Datsons..............I have heard of that group.......didn't know they were the same.
I am not sure the Datsons are the same as the High Dials..........most of the Datsons have the last name "Datson" and I don't believe any of the High Dials do......not sure.
