Permalink Reply by Stan Schwieger on July 24, 2011 at 9:01am It is easy to dismiss Ms. Winehouse as another junkie/addict who slowly offed themselves...but in an era where talent is based upon "being famous" rather than actual ability (Vanilla Ice, anyone), Ms. Winehouse--in spite all of her excesses, was a tremendous singer. Back to Black was and remains my pick for best of the 2000's--and I hope to live long enough where I will hear another disk of the same quality.
