Rock and Roll Tribe

A Global Army of Veteran Rockers

You know what I mean, not necessarily popular, though they might be.  "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel or "Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks or "The Brides Have Hit Glass" by Guided by Voices are all good examples.

This song is my "is it a floor wax..or a desert topping song"..I drag it out for all occassions..it's a catchy toe tapper I have loved since first listen in my college days

When POP was all I listened to on KOIL..this is what I was raised on

Here's some teeny pop that is up my alley.  I think Ben Lee was about 16 when the "Young & Jaded" EP came out.

That reminds me of this..a pretty sweet movie and sound track..love this little song

Love Jason Reitman!  I actually might like the version on the soundtrack by Michael Cera and Ellen Page a little better.

Here's another perfect pop song featured in a Jason Reitman film:

here is another tangent.. Michael Cera films, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Juno, and Nick and Nora's infinite Playlist are my favorites of his, all full of good music. being the old lady of 51 that I am so much of this might go by me except for my very cool kids, 25, 18 and 16. when they say " Mom, check this out" it is in the best interest of any cool factor I might hope to scrape together to take heed.
I agree Michael and Ellen, much sweeter version, I was hasty in posting.

Rewatched Nick and Nora's..actually..that is a one time will do ya kind of movie.

one great line though..a mix CD titled "Road to Closure volume 12..."

This is a killer film..but I kind of have it bad for George Clooney...

When I think of pop I think of what I used to listen to on the radio as a kid. Stevie Wonder was the best back in the day.

one more on that note

This kid could belt em out...
