A Global Army of Veteran Rockers
An admittedly low brow idea, but I have always wanted to put together a collection of songs that feature each one of the 50 states. I can come up with the simple states (Neil Young–Alabama), but nothing springs to mind that says for instance, Delaware. So help me–-the State reference can be in the name of the band, the song title, or even a passing lyric. (However, please spare me [and the rest of us] the reference in Michael Martin Murphy’s Wildflower where he mentions a “cold Nebraska night . . .” or any other song in that zip code. I am not that desperate to fulfill this low brow idea--if I have to go there.)
