Just stumbled upon it..

58 and still Rocking .....Was in a Los Angeles prog rock band in the mid to late 70's "Cheap Day Return" we were a pretty cool act and performed @ 90% originals (some +15 minute tunes in there), played with bands like VH, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue .."before" they "made it"... dormant for about 30 years just playing at home..then..@ 2007 I was invited to join in at the church.. killer musicians, they brought me up a notch "playing by ear" trying to stay up with these real musicians that can read music and have an understanding of music theory..theoryously a challenge..ugh.. 

The band was amazingly cool for a church band unfortunately drama, politics and a changing of church management 86'd the band 2 years ago.. BOO!

An old friend from High School invited me to join his classic rock band "BACK IN THE DAZE"  last year and the rest in misery..

Nah it's been a good time.. Not really interested in playing little dives but when we can play at a nice venue, with good sound, some lights and a decent crowd we're in. 

I posted some videos of us at Taste of Texas in Covina where we opened for Tierra back in April.. good times..
