Holiday music that doesn't blow
I had to go to the dreaded MALL and found myself assaulted with Christmas music while shopping. The most depressing part: it was November 1, a full 55 days before Xmas.
This is my least favorite time of year for public music, because of the endless repeats of the same schmaltzy holiday music. "Wonderful Christmastime" especially makes me want to whack radio programmers upside the head.
Now, I have no personal intention of listening to any Xmas music until maybe 5 days before the actual holiday, but when I do, what's going to keep me in the holiday spirit instead of making me want to go all Grinch on everyone?
