Rock and Roll Tribe

A Global Army of Veteran Rockers

Okay, come on let's hear 'em.  What are your favorite tracks/artists to listen to around Halloween?  It's truly the most Rock & Roll of all the holidays.  I maintain a blog, and every year I post a Halloween Compilation.  Feel free to come on by if you need some tune-age for your next Halloween party:  http://burnandshine.blogspot.com/search/label/Halloween

[crickets] . . .

Okay, I'll start. How 'bout Goth's "Stairway to Heaven":

and of course this great one by Da Bruddahs:

Season Of The Witch by Donovan, Witchy Woman by The Eagles, Hell's Bells by AC/DC, Zomby Woof by Frank Zappa/Mothers, (Don't Fear) The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult, Sympathy For The Devil by Rolling Stones, Frankenstein by Edgar Winter Group, Enter Sandman by Metallica, Devil Woman by Cliff Richard, Welcome To My Nightmare by Alice Cooper, Run Through The Jungle by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Spooky by Classics IV.
Before the day of the I-Pod, I kept this on a CD that I just set to repeat on a hidden boombox outside the door on Halloween. That scream..........

Threads that never took off.  When I popped in here this was still in single digit views-- lol.

This was before my time on the tribe Max Jack, I didn't see it before.
I will think and post some songs, I already had a dark tunes discussion last year but there is something about using Count Floyd "Now THAT'S really really SCARY!!" that just made me start a new one.

No worries-- this thread was dead and buried.

So Mike Nesmith. Yeah. WTF, right? Private, reclusive, mysterious for many years. A couple of years back, he got on Facebook and he posts long, winding tales about himself, his dogs, his home, his past, and a really lovely Mother's Day post last weekend. Photos go up. The whole thing. It's like he disappeared and then came back on his own terms. I didn't know how to take it. I'm a huge Monkees fan, no doubt. And, being a woman/girl of a certain age, I have a favorite and that favorite is Mike.…See More
