Black Dynamite. Blaxsploitation movie satire. Best satire since Airplane, although it may be a little too authentic. Here's the trailer. Very NSFW!

Any of the Monty Python films.
No Country for Old Men
Fargo
Apocalypse Now (Redux)
Caddyshack
Blues Brothers
Animal House

Looks like the Coen Brothers are remaking True Grit.

This film blew me away the first time I saw it and it keeps getting better for me. Perferction.

First movie I saw in Ft.Collins-- 96? I have not seen it since-- I'm due.
Trainspotting, Jon, is an awesome film.Have you ever tied to read the book(or the sequel 'porno').they're writen in Scottish, very hard work to read in the Scottish accent.lol.
I have read that book - in fact I've read everything Irvine Welsh has ever written. He's fantastic. Trainspotting is the very rare case when both the book and film are indispensable.

One you get about 20 pages in, the Scottish thing fades away. In other words, I can now read Scottish. :)
I've actually taught this book: I make the read Robert Burns first, to practice.
