Permalink Reply by Vic Paric on March 11, 2012 at 4:37pm Maybe this was a bad example for this particular thread, cause I didn't really hate them. It's just that nothing they did really caught my ear until this one song. I did, however, hate everything they did from that point on ...
Permalink Reply by Julie Jurrjens on March 11, 2012 at 9:56am Loathe the Four Seasons... they're just nails on the chalkboard to me. However, "Saturday's Father" is pretty amazing.
Permalink Reply by Julie Jurrjens on March 11, 2012 at 10:02am Kenny Rogers... generally pretty awful, but this is a slab of some pretty awesome psychedelic schmaltz.

Hate hate hate David Lee Roth...he single handedly destroyed any credibility Spandex could of ever hoped for...
I do have to say Eddie Van Halen is a fine guitar player and i am fond of a few of their songs..the shame..the horror! I am now in the witness protection program wearing a fake stash as I admit to this..but here it is

I'm not particularly a fan of VH, but saw Roth for free at the Michigan State Fair some time ago and he was pretty entertaining. The outfit (a b/w satin harlequin number, not buttless, thank gawd) was worth the price of admission alone.

Permalink Reply by Stan Schwieger on May 10, 2012 at 4:30pm I dislike (most of) Van Halen, but I loves me some Van Hagar. And who can hate a band that has classic lyrics such as "only time will tell whether we stand the test of time." Steve Miller himself (rhyming Texas and "facts is") could do no worse. Well, maybe a bit worse.
